Who is eligible to apply for a E-Transcript?

Alumni and withdrawn students in any academic program from the 1997 academic year (September 1997) onwards are eligible to apply for both Chinese and English E-Transcripts.


What if I haven't received the email notification?

Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still cannot find it, please contact the Registration Section at (02) 2939-3091 ext. 63279 for assistance.


Can the university resend a lost E-Transcript?

Once the university sends out your E-Transcripts, the files will be permanently deleted and no copies will be retained. If you lose the files or need to send them to another email address, a new application must be submitted.


Can current students apply?

Yes, current students may apply. However, as the student's studies have not yet concluded and considering the fee of NT$200 per copy, it is recommended that students apply after graduation.


How can I determine if a E-Transcript is valid or has been modified?

When a E-Transcript is opened with Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat software, if the blue digital signature ribbon is missing, or if it has the following icon despite having the blue signature bar:  It indicates the document is not valid.


How can a E-Transcript be verified?

Our E-Transcripts are issued in collaboration with the TAIWAN-CA INC.(TWCA). All documents are secured with digital signatures and Adobe certification. Please open the file with Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat software; a blue digital signature ribbon should appear at the top of the document. Refer to the illustration below:

This indicates a valid and certified document.


I applied for a E-Transcript but have decided not to proceed. Can I get a refund?

Once the E-Transcripts have been issued with the university’s certificate and digital signature, they cannot be revoked, and the application fee is non-refundable.


What is the fee for a E-Transcript? How do I pay?

  • Fee: NT$200 per copy.
  • Recipients: Each application can include up to six recipient email addresses. (The first two addresses are free; an additional processing fee of NT$20 will be charged for each address starting from the third).
  • Payment: Payments can be made via Online ATM or Credit Card through the Application system.


Can the content of the email sent by the university with the E-Transcript be customized?

The email sent by the university uses a standardized template and is sent directly by the system with the E-Transcript attached; the email content cannot be customized. Alumni may select the "Preview Email" option in the Application System during the application process.

Alumni who enrolled starting from the 1997 academic year (September 1997) must apply for E-Transcripts. Upon application, please provide the recipient's email address, and the university will issue and send the transcripts accordingly.


Can I apply for a E-Transcript in person?

E-Transcripts are only available through the Application System; applications via the counter, mail, or other methods are not accepted.

How do I apply for a E-Transcript?

E-Transcripts are now available to alumni and withdrawn students who enrolled starting from the 1997 academic year (September 1997). Please submit your application through the university's Online Document Application System ("the Application System") after registering for an account.

I have already applied for a E-Transcript, but due to an institution's requirement, it must be sent from the university 's official email. Can I send the file to the university directly and have the university send it?

The university's E-Transcript is a valid document verified by a certificate signature. If an institution requires the transcript to be sent from the university 's email, alumni should apply for a new E-Transcript and fill in that institution's email address as the recipient.

I have received the E-Transcript sent by the university, but the institution I am applying to requires the transcript to be sent from the university's official email address. What should I do?

The university’s E-Transcripts are valid documents verified by a certificate signature. If an institution does not accept transcripts sent or uploaded directly by alumni, but instead requires them to be sent directly from the official university email address, alumni must submit a new request in the Application System and enter the institution’s email address as the recipient. The university will then regenerate and send the transcript accordingly.

For such special requests, please follow the steps below to complete your application:

Step 1: Apply for the E-Transcript first

When filling out the recipient email addresses in the Application System, please ensure one of them is the university's designated email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Once you complete the application and payment, please make a note of this transcript application reference number.

Step 2: Simultaneously apply for the hard-copy documents that need to be scanned

Apply for the paper documents (such as your degree certificate, etc.) that need to be scanned and attached. After completing the application and payment, please also record this application reference number.

Step 3: Send an email to the university from your personal email account

Send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the subject line: "[Your Name] - Request for Assistance in Sending E-Transcript and Scanned Documents Abroad."

In the email, please be sure to provide the following information:

  1. Your application number issued by the foreign institution.
  2. Both application reference numbers from Step 1 and Step 2.
  3. The exact email address of the foreign institution to which the university needs to forward the files.

Upon receiving your email, the university will attach the required documents, include the necessary details, and forward the complete package to the foreign institution on your behalf.
