主  旨：   本校96學年度外國學生入學申請錄取名單如下：

                  (共計正式生正取一六八名，備取一六名；選讀生正取一名)

說  明：

一、(一)正取生請於2007年7月16日前，將所附【學籍記載表】(ß可點選下載；若您未於近日內收到錄取通知，請自行點選下載表格！)及經台灣駐外單位驗證之最高學歷證明與成績單影本，寄回本校國際教育交流中心何芸婷小姐（以郵戳為憑，逾期未寄回者視同放棄入學資格，並依規定通知該系之備取生遞補）。聯絡電話：+886-2-29393091轉62040或E-Mail：alison@nccu.edu.tw。

　　(二)備取生通知遞補時間為2007年7月17日至9月14日。經通知遞補錄取之備取生，請於2007年9月14日前，將所附【學籍記載表】及經台灣駐外單位驗證之最高學歷證明與成績單影本寄回本校國際教育交流中心何芸婷小姐（以郵戳為憑，逾期未寄回者視同放棄入學資格）。

    (四)應屆畢業者請於2007年7月16日前寄送前一學程之畢業證書影本（在台畢業者請影印後加蓋校印，如為國外完成之學歷須經台灣駐外單位驗證）及該學程之全部成績單（須由原畢業學校加蓋章戳或鋼印並密封）。

二、錄取新生應向本校國際教育交流中心報到，註冊及繳費通知單等相關資料，均於報到時提供，並請於規定期限內完成註冊相關事項。相關訊息請參閱國際教育交流中心網頁，網址： http://www.iee.nccu.edu.tw。或請洽詢何芸婷小姐，電話：+886-2-29393091轉62040。 

三、學士班新學年度錄取之僑生、外國學生優先分配床位；碩、博士班新學年度錄取之僑生、外國學生，第一年保障住宿（惟曾取得國內大學學位者，不在保障之列），但務必於學籍記載表上勾選「申請學生宿舍」，以利辦理後續作業，若有記載不實或未勾選者，均視同自動放棄學生宿舍住宿申請。但碩、博士班二年級以上（含二年級）之學生則需於學期開始前重新提出申請，與一般生共同參與抽籤。凡本校住宿學生應依期限內完成體檢，否則應予立即退宿，當學年度且不得住宿。如有相關問題，請洽詢何芸婷小姐，電話：+886-2-29393091轉62040。

四、學士班欲申請提高編級者(欲就讀二年級以上者)，請於2007年8月28日前攜帶肄業證明書及成績單向各就讀系所辦公室提出申請。

五、本校國際學生中文能力測驗由各系所自行訂定，請逕洽各系所辦公室詢問。

六、持有居留證之外國學生在台居留滿四個月起，應參加全民健康保險。相關規定請洽國際教育交流中心何芸婷小姐，電話：+886-2-29393091轉62040。

七、入學許可並不保證簽證取得，簽證須由我國駐外館處核給。

Description:

1. (1)Regular students should mail the completed attached “Enrollment Registration Form” (Click to download if you haven't received the admission letter in a week.) and one copy of their diploma and transcript (with official stamp/seal) verified by the Taiwan Overseas Missions in the country of their original school to the Center of International Education and Exchange (IEE) by July 16 , 2007.  (according to postmark date; those failing to return applications by the prescribed date will be forfeit their candidacy for admission; admission offers will be extended to applicants on the waiting list, as stipulated by the regulations.） Please contact Ms. Alison Ho at Tel:+886-2-29387892 for information；E-mail：alison@nccu.edu.tw

(2)If any space is available, NCCU will inform applicants on the waiting list of available seats between July 17th to September 14th, 2007 by email or phone.  Applicants on the waiting list who have been notified of admission shall complete the attached form with one copy of their diploma and transcript (with official stamp/seal) verified by the Taiwan Overseas Missions in the country of their original school and return them to the Center of International Education and Exchange by September 14 th , 2007 (according to postmark date; those who fail to return their applications by the prescribed date will forfeit their candidacy for admission.）

(4)Graduating students who fail to provide diploma and transcripts at time of application are required to submit a photocopy of his/her diploma from a secondary school or college (applicants who graduated from school in Taiwan must provide the school’s stamp for verification; students who graduated outside Taiwan must provide a Chinese or English translation of their diploma (verified by the Taiwan Overseas Missions in the country of their original school ) and official transcripts from the school previously attended, either secondary school or college (in Chinese or English).

2.  Newly admitted students are required to bring the admission notification to the Center of International Education and Exchange and obtain the notification for payment of tuition. 3.  Overseas Chinese and International students admitted to undergraduate programs for the new academic year will be given the first priority for student housing.  Overseas Chinese and International students admitted to master’s / doctoral programs are guaranteed student housing for the first year of study (those who graduated from universities in Taiwan do not qualify).

Please check the appropriate box in the “Student Housing Application” section of the Enrollment Registration Form. Applicants who falsify any information or fail to make an appropriate selection will be disqualified from student housing in the Residence Hall.  Second-year (and other non-first-year) graduate students should renew their applications prior to the start of the semester in order to qualify for a lottery drawing with other regular students.

All on-campus residents are required to finish physical check-up within the stipulated period of time. Those who fail to meet this requirement will be deprived of their residence rights immediately and cannot apply for on-campus housing until the next academic year.  Students may move into assigned Residence Hall the start of the semester.  Please contact Ms. Alison Ho at +886-2-29393091 ext. 62040 for information.

4.  Undergraduate students who wish to enroll in upper-level courses should submit certification of completion of any pre-requisite courses and transcript along with completed application to the individual offices by August 28 , 2007.

5.  The information about NCCU regulations of the Chinese Proficiency Test for International Students, please contact the department office you belonging. 

6.  International students who hold an Alien Resident Certificate and who have resided in Taiwan for more than four months are eligible to enroll in the National Health Insurance Program.  Inquiries about relevant regulations should be directed to Ms. Alison Ho at +886-2- 29393091 ext. 62040.

7.  Receiving the enrolment permit wouldn’t mean the guarantee of the VISA. The VISA would only be approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
